Refund policy
Effective [Effective date]
We want you to pay for RookerAI only if it's useful to you. This page says when you can get your money back and how to ask.
The policy
- Your first payment: if you ask within [Refund window: 14 days suggested] of the first paid charge on your subscription, you get a full refund. No reason needed.
- Renewals: monthly and yearly renewals after that aren't refunded. You can cancel at any time and keep the service until the end of the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again.
- Trial: if your plan starts with a free trial, cancel before it ends and you won't be charged.[Trial terms not decided: keep this line only if there is a trial]
- Part of a period: cancelling or downgrading doesn't refund the rest of the current period.
- When something is our fault, for example a double charge, or a long outage on our side, we'll refund what's fair even outside the window. [Draft choice]

Paddle and your legal rights
Paddle sells RookerAI to you as our reseller and merchant of record, so refunds are paid by Paddle, to the payment method you used. Paddle may also grant refunds itself under its own buyer terms and the law where you live, such as the 14-day right of withdrawal for consumers in the EU and UK. This policy adds to those rights; it doesn't take any away.
[For legal review: how the right of withdrawal applies once you start using the service]
How to ask
- Write to [Contact email] from your account's email address, with the order number from your Paddle receipt if you have it.
- Or use the link in your Paddle receipt email to contact Paddle directly.
We'll answer within [Response time: 3 business days suggested]. Once a refund is approved, Paddle sends it back to your card or payment method; it usually shows up within [Refund arrival time: 5–10 business days, confirm with Paddle], depending on your bank.
What happens to your subscription
- A full refund of your latest payment cancels your subscription at once. You won't be charged again. [Draft choice]
- Your account becomes read-only: you can sign in and see your data, but your agents stop running and doing AI work.
- Your data is kept for [Retention after cancellation: 90 days suggested], then deleted, unless you subscribe again before then. You can delete it sooner with Delete account.
- One refund per customer: a later subscription isn't eligible for another first-payment refund. [Draft choice]
Chargebacks
Please write to us before disputing a charge with your bank; it's usually faster. A chargeback suspends the account until it's resolved. [Draft choice]
